Paris Saint-Germain Wins Coupe de France With Neymar's Lone

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) on Friday won the Coupe de France for the 13th time in their history with Neymar's lone goal but Mbappe was off with an injury.

Saint Etienne was the team doing the attacking in the early stages of the match with crosses, runs, passes but the best they could come up with was hitting the post.

PSG came to live when Mbappe made a run at the defence, exchanged a one-two with Di Maria, then unleashed a shot from inside the 18-yard box but Jessy Moulin parried it, Neymar was in the box with a rebound to the roof of the net to make it 1-0 that was the first real attempt from PSG and it ended a goal.

With 33 minutes on the clock, Mbappe was about to push a counter-attack but he was shut down by Loic Perrin which earned him a red card after the VAR check. Unfortunately, Mbappe was out with an injury and was replaced by Pablo Sarabia.

The match was full of cards; 10 yellow cards and 1 red card. Saint Etienne had 6 yellow cards and 1 red card and PSG had 4 yellow cards.

In the end, PSG claimed the Coupe de France for the 13th time in their history.
