Pastor Adeboye's Son Dare Adeboye Dead At 42

Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has lost his son, Dare Adeboye.

Punch reports that the deceased (who was also a pastor)  was the third son of the renowned cleric and was 42 years old at the time of his passing.

According to the report, Dare Adeboye died in his sleep on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he lived with his wife and children.

According to reliable sources in the church where the late pastor was based, he had ministered a day before his death, and his wife Temiololuwa, who raised the alarm, revealed that he was not sick.

"He was not sick and did not complain of anything before the incident. Pastors in the church were summoned to pray for him, all to no avail", she said.

The tragic news was confirmed by the Head of Media and Public Relations, RCCG, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi, on Thursday morning. His words:

"It is true. The incident happened in Eket where he was based. I don't have the details for now. Maybe before the end of today, we will issue a statement."

Dare Adeboye would have turned 43 in June.
