During the Organisation’s 43rd Ordinary General Assembly in Rabat, Morocco on Friday, Patrice Motsepe emerged as an unopposed elected President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The Billionaire who is the 9th richest person in Africa is also the owner of South African club Mamelodi Sundowns.

In his acceptance speech, Motsepe said, “I’m absolutely confident that working together we will indeed succeed to make African football to be amongst the best in the world.
“African football must become the best in the world,” he added. “It won’t happen overnight, but that is the test of what we are going to do over the next few years.”
