Paul Okoye, one of the duo from the Nigerian music group P-Square, has raised concerns about the treatment of individuals who drive Mercedes-Benz cars by Nigerian police officers.
In a post on his Instagram story, he questioned the peculiar behaviour exhibited by law enforcement officials when encountering such vehicles.
He highlighted a prevailing notion that Nigerian police officers undergo a shift in mindset upon encountering individuals driving Benz cars.
He implied that the officers’ behaviour changes, suggesting a presumption of illicit activities solely based on the ownership of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
“What is it with Nigerian police with people driving Benz?
"Once they see Benz, their mindset go change.
"Abi una colleague Benz miss?” Okoye wrote.
