PDP Endorses Atiku For 2023 Presidential Race

FG Finally Declares Bandits As Terrorists

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared full support for the 2023 presidential ambition of Atiku Abubakar.

Stakeholders of the PDP in 24 states endorsed the former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar for President in 2023, a committee soliciting support for him said on Wednesday.

Leader of the Technical Committee for Atiku, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, spoke during a visit of his committee to Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

He said Adamawa was the 24th state his committee was visiting and that all the 24 states showed overwhelming support for Atiku.

Dokpesi, the founder of DAAR Communications added that Nigeria “has never been this disunited”, saying that the country needs someone like Atiku Abubakar,  a former vice-president, to lead the nation out of “its present quagmire”.

“Now that 2023 is approaching again. Now that the economy of the country has totally collapsed, and our children cannot find employment.

“It is very glaring that we need somebody who is a unifier, who is very sound, who has business acumen, who himself has investment and wealth of experience and wherewithal to be able to properly lead the country out of its present quagmire like Atiku.”

“The country has never been disunited as we have it today, both on religious and ethnic lines. Our economy is in shambles.

"We have not borrowed as much money externally and locally as we have experienced in the last six or seven years of the APC-led federal government.

“What we have under the Buhari administration is a Nigeria that is flowing with the blood of our children. The banditry and insecurity that is available is one which is unprecedented.”

Dokpesi thanked the people of Adamawa for supporting the former Vice-President.

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri promised that the state would rally round theAtiku Abubakar to enable him realise his presidential ambition, considering the fact that he is a son of the state.

The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Chief Crowther Seth, urged Nigerians to continue to support Atiku to get to the coveted seat.

The state’s PDP Chairman Tahir Shehu expressed the confidence that Atiku would liberate the country from underdevelopment and insecurity.
