The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has nullified the outcome of the Ekiti State delegate congress that was held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 AllNews can reliably report.
This decision was conveyed on Monday during an emergency meeting of the national leadership of the PDP.
Making the announcement via a statement signed by its National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, the PDP national leadership also resolved to make use of the statutory/automatic delegates list to elect its gubernatorial candidate for the party.

Ayu said the Ekiti governorship primary election will be conducted using the statutory/automatic delegates list.
The PDP chair called for the immediate withdrawal of all Court actions instituted by aggrieved parties in the dispute.
According to him, the decision of the party leadership was binding on all stakeholders in the Ekiti.
Recall that the party had elected a 3-Man Ad-Hoc ward delegate to elect the party flag bearer in the gubernatorial election.
The party stated that primary election will be held on Wednesday.
