PDP Southwest Congress Postponed, Venue Moved To Osogbo

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has postponed its Southwest Zonal Congress to Monday, April 12, 2021.

In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan, the NWC also communicated that the next congress will be held in Osogbo, the Osun state capital instead of Ibadan.

According to report, the purpose of the now-postponed meeting was to resolve all current South-West issues and according to the press release, that still remains a priority.

In the statement, the NWC also commended the understanding, selflessness, and unified stance PDP southwest leaders and stakeholders have shown in this crucial time regarding the deliberation of issues in the zone and hope that can continue.
