The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says it will present a certificate of return at the swearing-in ceremony of its newly elected national officers on December 10 in Abuja.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, disclosed this in a statement he issued in Abuja on Saturday.
He said that the event would hold at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, by 9:30 am.
It said the transition from the outgoing to incoming national officers of the party is sequenced to the successful conduct of the October 30 and October 31 elective National Convention and in keeping with due process of internal democracy.
“Accordingly, the valedictory session of the outgoing National Working Committee (NWC) has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, December 8, at the NEC Hall of the National Secretariat, Abuja at 11 am.”
The Party held its convention on October 30 to elect a new National Working Committee to steer the activities of the party for the next four years in a surprisingly rancour-free convention.
Interestingly also, the party produced 25-year-old Suleiman Kadade, as a national youth leader.
