Veteran actor, Pete Edochie, has expressed his concerns over the increasing number of women opting for cosmetic surgeries to enhance their body features.
In the latest episode of his periodic chat with Adakarl TV which was uploaded on his Instagram page, he projected his confusion as to why women are so obsessed with boob and butt enlargement surgeries.
The 74-year-old movie star added that it is now difficult to find a naturally endowed Nigerian lady.
He said, “Today, it’s difficult to find a girl who is still what she is. You wear false hair, lashes, boobs, asses. I don’t know what is still natural about you, let’s be honest. Why must our girls be obsessed with these things? I don’t know.
“I would want them to insult me and tell me why they love these things. I don’t mind being insulted. I mean, I’m used to it. Some girls now die while they’re trying to operate and inflate their asses. May the good Lord help us.”
Recall that the veteran actor had disclosed in May that his mum was handpicked to marry his 40-year-old dad when she was only 15.
According to him, his mother never dared to look in the eye of his father and was terribly shy even when she had given birth to ten children.
He said, “My mother was not educated. She was not in love with my father. My father was almost 40 when his uncle told him it was time he got married. He told them to get a wife for him.
"My uncle went out to a neighbouring village and told them the teacher wanted to get married. The women came out. He looked around and picked one and that was it. He brought this 15-year-old who didn’t dare to look at my father. She gave him ten children and was still shy. Seven boys and three girls."
