Pete Edochie: Uche Edochie Recounts Growing Up With Father

Uche Edochie has spoken about growing up with a strict father like Pete Edochie.

He made this known on his Instagram page while celebrating his father's 76th birthday.

He revealed that one of the highlights of his life has been watching his parents age so that he can continue to tell them how wonderful they are and how much he adores them.

He found it amusing that it felt that way when he and his siblings were growing up because they despised their father.

He gave the reason that Pete Edochie would not let them jeopardize their lives and careers for the sake of having fun.

However, as they grew older, they realized they were the source of the problem and deserved to have their asses kicked.

He believes that today's generation of no-nonsense men is a dying breed because society will not let them be.

"A very happy birthday to my dad who turns 76 today.

"One of the highlights of my life has been watching my parents grow old just so that I still get to tell them how amazing they are and how much I love them.

"Isn't it funny how we felt the exact opposite way when we were growing up?

"Back then we hated our dads because they wouldn't let us endanger our lives and careers in the name of having fun.

"We thought they were the problem. And then we grew up and realized that we were the problem and we needed our asses kicked.

"Thanks for kicking my ass dad when you had to.

"I am glad I grew up in the seventies and eighties and had a solid father like you to raise me."
