Peter Obi In Jos For Solidarity Rally

As campaign windows officially open today by INEC, the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, visited Jos, Plateau State.

On arriving in Jos, he met with the Gbong Gwom Jos, HRM Jacob Gyang Buba.

The Labour Party standard bearers will also join a solidarity rally on the invitation of the Middle Belt Forum.

Posting photographs of his arrival with his running mate to his verified Twitter handle, Obi wrote, “Arriving Jos with Dr Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, to meet with Gbong Gwom Jos, HRM Jacob Gyang Buba, and also honour the invitation of the Middle Belt Forum to a solidarity rally.

“We continue to call on the FGN (Federal Government of Nigeria) to end the ASUU strike and allow our children to go back to school."

Supporters of the LP’s presidential candidate were seen cheering him on arrival.
