The National Publicity Secretary of the Obidient Movements Worldwide, Dr Ahmed Rabiu, has disclosed that Peter Obi's followers will storm the detention room of the Department of State Services (DSS) if he is arrested.
The warning comes on the heels of the petition submitted to the security agency by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Festus Keyamo on Thursday.
Keyamo wants the duo of Obi and his running mate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed arrested over their recent utterances.
In his reaction on behalf of Labour Party supporters, Rabiu told Keyamo that the move is one Obidients have been anticipating.
He stated that should DSS carry out the arrest, it would spell doom for the APC chieftain.
Rabui then assured Keyamo that Obi's supporters would take up every space in their detention room should such an arrest be made.
“Mr Keyamo, we have been anticipating a day like this when your desperation to cover up all APC’s inhuman and evil deeds will lead you to doom.
“Be rest assured that all Obidients will occupy every space in that DSS detention room.
“We are bound together and not even evil corrupt entities of your type can change Obi’s mandate.
“In all your fruitless effort, this will certainly mark the end of you and your APC’s dictatorial leadership in Nigeria”, he said.
