PFN Asks Buhari To Address Insecurity, Other Issues Rocking

The President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, (PFN) Felix Omobude has advised President Buhari to immediately attend to the issue of Insecurity, unemployment, and poverty currently rocking the country.

Making this call in his Christmas message, Omobude pleaded with Nigerians not to lose hope in the midst of the insecurity issues rocking the country.

Expressing optimising that that God's plans for Nigeria will prevail despite the current economic and social challenges rocking the world, Omobude encouraged Nigerians to keep praying for the nation.

“The Federal Government needs to do more in addressing the urgent challenges of insecurity, poverty, and unemployment in Nigeria,” he said.

The country has, in recent times, encountered a series of attacks from terrorist sect Boko Haram, bandits, and kidnappers.

Recall that the Boko Haram insurgency during an attack on the Zabarmari community in  Borno State beheaded over 40 rice farmers.

Not too long after students of Government Science Secondary School Kankara in Katsina state were abducted after suspected bandits invaded the school.

While the students were later rescued, there have been reports of other attacks by Boko Haram and other bandit groups in the Northern region of the country.
