International hacking group, Anonymous, has hacked the website of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), days after threatening to attack Nigeria over Police brutality against the Nigerian youths. AllNews had reported that Nigerian youths are protesting against Police unit, Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The ENDSARS protest has been on for over a week, with youths in Nigeria takeover major roads to protest against harassment and killings by SARS operatives. To show it support, Anonymous warned the Nigerian government to stop the police brutality or it will take action against the government.

Anonymous group is known for hacking government agencies and high-profile companies as protest. The group first hacked the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), and tweeting through the government agency's Twitter handle that it support the ENDSARS protest.

Anonymous has now taken its fight against Police brutality in Nigeria to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), as it shutdown the website of Nigeria's financial regulator. The group took the website offline, as a sign of continuous warning to the Nigerian government.

CBN website is no longer accessible according to AllNews findings.
