Veteran actress Joke Silva has praised the acting prowess of her colleague Bimbo Akintola, who the 58-year-old says inspires her.
Silva, in an Instagram post on Tuesday, showered praises on Akintola who according to her, plays roles perfectly "with seeming effortlessness".
The 58-year-old also praised Akintola for interpreting roles brilliantly in both English and Yoruba language.
She wrote “Bimbo Akintola is an actress of whom very often I am in awe. She is what I call a morpher embodying whatever character she plays with amazing ease and seeming effortlessness – and she does with whether she is performing on screen or on stage. To crown it all, she brilliantly pulls off both English and Yoruba roles with equal ease. You inspire me.”
Akintola was born on May 5, 1970. Her debut acting was when she featured in the film OWO BLOW in 1995 alongside Femi Adebayo and followed up with Out of Bounds in 1999 with Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD).
