President Muhammadu Buhari played host to Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima on Wednesday night in his Daura country, Katsina State, where the duo presented their certificates of return to him.
Per reports, the winner of the 2023 presidential election and his running mate were accompanied by members of the Progressives Governors’ Forum (NGF) and the party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, disclosed that Tinubu and Shettima were on a "thank you visit" to Buhari following their victory in the recent polls.
The duo were given the certificates of return on Wednesday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman Mahmood Yakubu at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.
