Plane Catches Fire After Landing At Airport

A Boeing 737-800 plane, with 196 passengers aboard, caught on fire shortly after it landed at the Sharm el-Sheikh Airport, Egypt.

The plane had just turned onto its parking bay after it taxied down the runway when it combusted at the left-hand main gear immediately after stop.

The Sun reports that the airport's CCTV captured the footage. Although the fire was put out by the staff of the airport without the use of any special equipment,

There were no casualties, as every single passenger aboard, including the seven crew members, came out unscathed.

The Egyptian Civil Aviation Ministry ascribed the cause of the fire to a leak of hydraulic oil.
