Owing to his promise to tackle rising cases of insecurity in the state, the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, on his first day in office held the first Security Executive meeting on how to provide a lasting solution to security challenge in Plateau State.

Fielding question from journalists after the meeting, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, CP Bartholomew Onyeka on Tuesday in Jos explained that their meeting with the Governor was centred mostly on reinforcement to tackle the insecurity in the state.

"We will come up with a solution towards eradicating some of these problems of killings in plateau."

The CP added that the entire security council would pay visits to conflicted places where all the incidents occurred.
