Governorship Aspirant of Plateau State under the banner of the APC, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda has instituted a ten year Best Science Student endowment fund in the prestigious Catholic Institution of St. Augustine’s College Du, in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State. 

The endowment fund which was announced on behalf of Dr. Nentawe by an APC Chieftain and ardent apostle of the Generation Next Movement, Honourable Festus Fuanter took place at the St. Augustine’s Students Cultural Festival held at the Schools’ premises, weekend. 

According to Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, an Associate Professor of Computer Science, then-year endowment is in the sum of twenty-five thousand Naira every session to the Best Science Student of the School. 

Dr. Nentawe thereafter gave the sum of N50,000:00k (fifty thousand nairas) which is expected to cover for the best Science Student in the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Sessions.

In his speech, Dr. Nentawe encouraged the students to take their science subjects seriously to compete and benefit from the endowment fund. He reminded them that shortly, only students with a strong science background will enjoy the benefit of lucrative jobs of the future. 

The cultural festival which was graced by the Goemai of Goemai Kingdom, Miskoom Martin Shaldas II amongst several dignitaries featured various cultural displays by the students of the school.
