Plateau Will Vote Massively For APC —Campaign Council Memb

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), have assured that Plateau will vote massively for the APC in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Dr Muhammad Dahiru, a member of the PCC stated that Nigerians are now more politically conscious and will only elect candidates that will sustain the nation’s democracy and develop the economy.

Dahiru made this know on Thursday during a stakeholders' meeting with 29 support groups from Dadin Kowa community in Jos South local government council of the state after its members publicly endorsed the Presidential Candidate of the APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governorship candidate of the APC in Plateau Dr Nentawe Yilwatda in Jos.

He said, "We in the APC have the best Candidates and marketing them would not be difficult, Our Presidential Candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu has a track record of success, as well as our Governorship candidate Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, we would go to the nooks and crannies of the state to campaign and ensure victory for them as well as other candidates contesting under our platform."

"All our votes would be delivered to our Candidates who have been tested and trusted, Gov Simon Lalong has done well in bringing peace to Plateau and Dr Nentawe Yilwatda would bring massive development to the state if elected, we have confidence that Dr Nentawe would deliver dividends of democracy to the people of Plateau as Governor come 2023."

Dahiru who is also Special Adviser to the Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council Governor Simon Lalong, urged voters to support and embrace the ruling party, adding that the party will do more in the next administration.

Speaking earlier the running mate to the All Progressives Congress Governorship candidate in Plateau Hon Pam Botmang, described Dadin Kowa community as his home.

Botmang added that he has confidence that the community would vote massively for the party in the forthcoming general election.

Meanwhile, the Governorship candidate of the APC in Plateau, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda noted that, as part of his objectives of achieving, peace and security as well as inclusive economic development, accelerating youth employment, introducing integrated rural development programmes as well as community policing and inclusion of all citizens in the governance of the State.

"We must empower the Youths, tackle poverty and carry them along in governance, my mission is to make Plateau the preferred destination for investment, business, tourism and habitation."
