PMS Distribution: Regulatory Body Working To Minimize Delays - Farouk

PMS Distribution: Regulatory Body Working To Minimize Delays

The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) is collaborating with other parties to alleviate the mild tightness that Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) distribution is currently experiencing.

This was announced in a statement released over the weekend by Farouk Ahmed, Authority Chief Executive, NMDPRA.

According to him, loading depot operations have fully restarted after being suspended during the recently concluded presidential and national assembly elections, which required truck drivers to travel in order to fulfil their civic duty.

The CEO advised the public to take note of the present stock sufficiency levels, which were 35.39 days for PMS, 34.86 days for automotive gas oil (AGO), and 31.36 days for aviation turbine kerosene (ATK).

“The authority continues to strive towards guaranteeing supply and distribution reliability nationwide and strongly advises against panic buying,” the ACE said.
