Police Arraigns Suspects Of Mpape Bank Robbery

The Police on Friday arraigned the five armed robbery suspects arrested in connection with the foiled Mpape bank robbery at a First Bank branch in Mpape, Abuja.

The suspects were arraigned at the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Wuse.

The suspects are: Ehizo Larry ‘m’ 30 years, Princewill Obinna ‘m’ 24 years, Elijah David ‘m’ 19 years, Timothy Joe ‘m’ 21  years, and Earnest Ewim ‘m’ 29 years.

They were charged for armed robbery and illegal possession of firearms. However, they all pleaded not guilty to the charges.

On Saturday, December 28, 2019, operatives of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command and soldiers from the Guards Brigades the bank robbery in Mpape, a few metres from Maitama, Abuja.
