The Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of suspects involved in the killing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) women leader in the state, Salome Abuh.
Salome was burnt alive in her house a few days after the Kogi State Governorship election held on November 16.
The State Commissioner of police Akeem Busari said that his officers collaborated with the state's local vigilantes in capturing the six suspects.
The suspects are Ocholi Edicha, Adamu Haruna, Onu Egbunu, Musa Alidu, Attai Haruna, Attah Ejeh.
One of the suspects, Ocholi Edicha, who confessed to his role as the group's leader, also said that the group had carried a series of robberies in the state.
Busari assures that everyone involved in the act will be brought to book, as the investigation had not ended.
However, other suspects denied killing Salome but confessed to having carried out robbery attacks in the state.
