Lagos State Police Command on Saturday arrested a long wanted notorious traffic robber and gang leader, Olowolayemo Sodiq.
Lagos State police spokesman, Bala Elkana, in a statement said the police have long had Sodiq on their wanted list for series of traffic robberies and violent cult attacks in Bariga.
Bala said that the suspect was arrested alongside his accomplice, Bamidele Moses, popularly called Badoo, and both of them have been sent to Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) for further investigation and prosecution.
Before his arrest, Sodiq and his accomplice Moses conspired to rob one Jude Saka of his Bajaj Motorcycle on Wednesday.
