Police Arrest Two Suspects For Possession Of Pistol, Bullet In Delta

Police operatives in Delta State have arrested two suspects with a locally fabricated pistol and a live bullet in Agbo area of the state.

The suspects, Collins Anthony, 34, and Stephen Goddey, 30, were arrested during a search of a tricycle along Baleke Street, Iregua, Agbor.

Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a statement on Wednesday.

“The team sighted a motorcycle with three passengers, carrying a bag.

"On sighting the police officers, two of the passengers, Collins Anthony and Stephen Goddey, both residents of Agbor community, jumped out of the motorcycle and took to their heels, but the police officers went after them and arrested them.

“Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects belong to a criminal syndicate terrorising Agbor community and its environs.”
