Nigerian Police
No fewer than 13 suspected kidnappers have been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command.
The police also recovered weapons which include an AK-47 rifle, Dane guns, a pistol and ammunitions.
Other items recovered include the sum of N358,500 and three motorcycles.
Reacting to the development, the Adamawa state Commissioner of Police, Mikiru Akande commended the efforts of other security agencies that brought about the success in the operation.
While urging the public to continue to support the police with reliable information, he said everyone must come together to end the security challenges in the state.
Akande further assured that all the suspects will be prosecuted upon completion of investigation.
"The police will not relent in the manhunt of those suspects at large until they are apprehended and brought to book", he said.
