Police Arrests 34-Year-Old Man For Defiling 3-Year-Old Girl In Bauchi

A 34-year-old man, Adeshina Abdulazizi, has been arrested by the Police Command in Bauchi for allegedly defiling a 3-year-old girl in the state.

AllNews gathered that the suspect, a resident of Igbo quarters in Bauchi metropolis committed the act on Sunday, Augist 2, 2020.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, the suspect lured the victim into his room and unlawfully defiled her.

According to Wakil, Abdulazizi confessed to the crime and also said he had also defiled not less than four minors in the state.

He said, “On the 2nd of August at about 0800hrs, the suspect (Abdulazizi) lured the victim into his room situated at Igbo quarters, Bauchi, and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her against her consent.

“Hence, information received and he was arrested immediately. The suspect confessed to the crime and stated that he has raped not less than four minors.”

However, the PPRO said the case is under investigation.
