Police 'Hit' Sahara Reporters’ Publisher, Omoyele Sowore,

Nigerian rights activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, took to his verified Twitter handle on Monday morning to display a wound where he was 'hit by a police officer'.

According to the activist, the incident happened at the Fountain Area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Sowore who shared an image of a wounded body also disclosed that the name of the officer who hit him was ACP Atine.

Further details of the incident could not be ascertained as at the time of writing this report.
