 Police Officer Crowned New Asiwaju Of Yoruba Youth

Lyon Emmanuel Jamu, the new Asiwaju of Yoruba youth

An officer of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Lyon Emmanuel Jamu has been honoured with a prestigious title of 'Asiwaju of Yoruba Youth'. 

The National body of Yoruba Youth Council conferred the title at an event on Sunday in Abuja. 

This, according to the council was in recognition of his “impeccable, noteworthy and outstanding humanitarian services, consistent contributions to national security, high level of humanity and open-door policy, philanthropic, unequal love to mankind and particularly youth-friendly gestures."

Jamu in his acceptance speech expressed appreciation to the members and leadership of the pan-Yoruba group for finding him worthy of the prestigious title. 

He assured that the title would spur him to give more in service to Nigeria and humanity at large. 

Jamu who also holds the traditional title of Ajiyan Buh is from Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
