Police Promotes Hardworking Officers In Zamfara

Promoted Police Officers in Zamfara

Zamfara State Police Command has promoted policemen and women whom the force considered hardworking and dedicated to securing the lives and properties of the Zamfara people.

The State’s Commissioner of Police, CP Ayuba N. Elkana on Thursday decorated the newly promoted officers serving at the Police Command.

According to a statement by the force’s spokesman, SP Muhammmad, Nine (9) Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) were decorated with their new rank of Superintendents of Police (SPs), while Seventy Six (76) unconfirmed Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs II) were decorated with the substantive rank of Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs I).

Among those promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police are; SP Rayyanu Mamuda, SP Armaya’u Zarumi, SP Jafaru Mohammed, SP Hassan Bala, SP Aliyu Usman, SP Murtala Aliyu, SP Ma’aruf Kabir Deji, SP Surajo Ibrahim, and SP Mustapha Adamu

While Danjuma K. Shuaibu, Auwalu Dahiru, khalid Ibrahim, Hamisu Maikano, Tukur Isah, Abubakar Magaji and others were confirmed as substantive Assistant Superintendents of Police.

"The Commissioner of Police congratulates the newly promoted officers and urges them to redouble their commitment and hard work so that they can justify their new ranks”

He reminded them that, the higher the position, the higher the challenges, as he advised them to work harder to protect the people of Zamfara.

While speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, SP Hassan Bala expressed their appreciation to the IGP for considering them worthy of promotion.

He also thanked the Commissioner of Police for the decoration and fatherly advice, promising to work hard and in line with professional ethics and constitutional provisions to justify the confidence reposed in them.
