Police Recover Arms, Ammunition From Suspected Robbers’ Ve

Arms, ammunition and a phone have been recovered from an abandoned vehicle in Oduke-Okwe axis of Asaba, Delta State.

The vehicle was said to have been abandoned by suspected armed robbers. 

One locally produced Barretta Pistol and a Samsung phone were found in a Toyota Sienna SUV with registration number ASB 781 YF.

The car was left behind by alleged armed robbers at the Oduke-Okwe axis of Asaba.

According to DAILY POST, the things were found under the car's driver's seat.

When they saw the Police approaching, the alleged armed robbers fled from their car and entered the market's crowd.

It was discovered that the armed robbery suspects resided in Asaba but operated in the Awka-Enugu highway axis.

In a statement, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the report and said an investigation is ongoing.
