Police rescue Fouani brothers abducted in Lagos

The police in Lagos State have rescued Abbas Fouani, Youssef Fouani, and Amtal Fouani, members of the prominent Fouani Nigeria Ltd family, who were abducted on June 14 while traveling by boat from their factory.

Fouani Nigeria Ltd, known for its distribution of LG, Hisense, and Maxi products in Nigeria, had been deeply concerned following the kidnapping.

The rescue, which took place late Monday night in Orugbo Iddo, involved the collaborative efforts of the marine police and the Nigerian Navy.

Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the safe return of the three brothers along with three Lebanese nationals, the boat captain, and his assistant.

Earlier on Monday, the police had vowed to tirelessly pursue the safe release of the abducted victims, marking a crucial development in the ongoing efforts to combat kidnapping incidents in the state.
