A policeman and a trader have lost their lives after a gang war broke out in Minna, Niger State.
The clash which also led to the destruction of properties happened between youths of different areas who storm Minna on Thursday.
The fight continued on Friday, before security men were able to quell the clash.
It was gathered that the fight ensued between youths in Limama and Ogbomoso. On Friday morning, the thugs regrouped and disrupted the Minna central area, dispersing business owners who hurriedly locked their shops and ran for safety.
PUNCH reported that during the clash, a trader whose shop is located at Ogbomoso road was stabbed and died in a hospital. With regards to the policeman, there are conflicting reports on how he died. Some said he was mistakenly killed by his colleague, while others insisted that he died during the clash.
