Pope Francis Calls For Humanitarian Corridors In Gaza Amid O

In the midst of the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, Pope Francis has made a heartfelt appeal for the establishment of humanitarian corridors to aid those under siege in Gaza.

Additionally, he renewed his plea for the release of hostages held by Hamas.

“I strongly ask that the children, the sick, the elderly, women and all civilians do not become victims of the conflict,” the Pope said during his weekly address to the crowds in St. Peter’s Square.

“Humanitarian rights must be respected, above all in Gaza,” he added.

Amid the intensifying Israeli bombardment, people in Gaza City are desperately evacuating, seeking refuge from the conflict's violence.

Many have arrived in places like Khan Younis, where more than 20,000 people now reside in a UN camp.
