Popular Gospel Artiste, Atorise Attacked By Gunmen

Gospel artiste, Lanre Teriba popularly called Atorise is currently being attended to following injuries he sustained in an attack during the weekend.

According to a report from an eyewitness, the artist was attacked by gunmen who were suspected to be herdsmen on Saturday night around Berger area, Lagos/ Ibadan expressway while returning from a ceremony he anchored on the said day.

The artiste sustained several injuries around his neck, and head from the attack and was rushed to a hospital in Lagos where he is currently hospitalized and treated.

Atorise recounts his experience with the gunmen saying his life is a miracle as to how he survived or was revived is not something he has full knowledge about.

Prior to this moment, the singer had released a song dubbed "WHY THE KILLINGS" using the lyrics to condemn the state of insecurity in the country as well as a campaigned against incessant cases of kidnapping and killings by suspected herdsmen in the country, in the name of religion.
