Popular Islamic Cleric Shades Buhari, Calls Him "Dumbest Person In Nigeria"

 

A popular global Islamic cleric, Mohammad Tawhidi, has called out President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria over his pronunciation of COVID-19 as Covikk 1-9 virus. 

Buhari, after much pressure from Nigerians to address the nation following the rising cases of coronavirus in the country, did a 33-second pre-recorded video in which he pronounced COVID-19 as Covikk 1-9, leading to a lot of backlash. 

Commenting on the development, Mohammed Tawhidi, who goes by the social media name @Imamofpeace, said, "The President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari still doesn’t  know the name of the virus killing 24,000+ at such a rapid rate."

He tweeted: "The President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari still doesn’t  know the name of the virus killing 24,000+ at such a rapid rate. Addressing the nation about it for the first time, he pronounced the virus as 'CIVIK 1-9'.

"His friend, Imran Khan, thinks Japan and Germany share a border."

However, such comment didn't go well with the followers of the President who bambarded his Twitter handle to express their displeasure. 

Reacting to the attacks, the "Peace Advocate" went further by calling President Muhammadu Buhari, "dumbest person in Nigeria."
