The hit single ‘Am Not A Prisoner’ by controversial street-pop singer Portable now has a music video, in which he recounts his recent arrest.
The music video was shot and directed by Samz Visuals and it features three energetic female dancers.
In the song, he calls himself a ‘Federal Government Liability’ and refers to himself as the ‘New Born Fela’, while acknowledging the authority of the government.
He also claims that God intentionally arranged his arrest to keep him safe from evil individuals.
Moreover, he warns that he will report anyone who spreads rumours about him to the police.
Portable was held in police custody and was arraigned on April 3 on a six-count charge related to assault and theft of musical equipment, but he pleaded not guilty to all charges.
He was granted bail in the sum of N300k, and the court required two sureties who must possess landed properties within the vicinity of the court.
