Portable Expresses Frustration Over Exclusion From Tinubu’

Controversial street-pop singer Portable has voiced his disappointment and frustration after being sidelined from the Renewed Hope concert held in Abuja, honouring President-elect Bola Tinubu.

In a video he shared via his Instagram page, the artiste expressed his grievances and highlighted his unwavering support for Tinubu during the election period.

Portable lamented, “Hello Nigerians, I’ve been ripped off. I’m the one always shouting Tinubu, anytime I post Tinubu, they (fans) will insult me.

“When I released a song about Tinubu, I was insulted.”

Portable expressed his disappointment at not being acknowledged or given a platform to perform at the concert.

He questioned the decision to feature artistes who allegedly did not show the same level of support during the election campaign.

He voiced his disappointment, saying, “They called my manager saying that I should come perform at Abuja.

“They said N10 million was dropped but they will only give me N5 million. I declined because I am the star.

“That is why I did not perform in Abuja for Tinubu.”
