Portable Not Above The Law, We Will Use 'Minimum Force' To Arrest Him — Police

Controversial singer Portable may find himself in detention soon as the police have disclosed that "minimum force" will be used to ensure his arrest.

The 'Zazu' crooner had a run-in with policemen on Tuesday when they stormed his club to apprehend him following a complaint lodged against him.

A video of the moment where Portable resists the arrest while declaring his link to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has since gone viral.

Speaking on the development, the Ogun State Police Command revealed that minimum force will be used to arrest the singer as he has ignored earlier summons for questioning.

"We have also sent an invitation to him through his father twice for questioning after a report was lodged against him.

"The police approached a court to get an arrest warrant for him following his refusal to honour the invitation.

"On sighting the police, Portable stripped himself naked so as to create a scene.

"Portable is not bigger than the law.

"We are going to use minimum force to arrest him", the State Police Spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi stated.
