The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has revealed that the outage being experienced in parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is due to a technical fault on its feeder.
AEDC disclosed this in a notice on Saturday.
According to AEDC, the affected areas are Zones 1, and 7 and part of Wuse Zone 2.
The firm assured residents that its engineers are working to restore power to the affected areas.
“The current power outage is due to a technical fault in the feeder serving these areas.
“Our team of engineers is working tirelessly to rectify the fault and restore power supply as quickly as possible”, AEDC stated.
Recall that on Monday, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, attributed power outages in parts of its service area to a system failure.
