Pregnant Nurse, Lover, Friend Found Dead In Toilet

Pregnant Nurse, Lover, Friend Found Dead In Toilet

Three people were found dead in the toilets of their residence in the Aralusi neighborhood in Akure, the capital of Ondo state.

The two lovers and their friend were said to have been murdered.

Their names were given as Ojo Akinro, his girlfriend, Mary lgwe and Lamidi Sheriff.

Miss Igwe, a nurse, is believed to be pregnant.

They were reportedly killed and their bodies locked in the toilet.

Their bodies were discovered after several calls on their cell phones went unanswered.

Witnesses said their relatives broke down the door and found their bodies in the toilet.

A witness told reporters it was likely a murder case.

“The victims had to be silenced because of a failed deal. You know all these young boys and girls are in such a bad business. “Only God knows what happened between them and they just decided to kill the three of them like that.

"It was incredible when their corpses were taken out by the police and taken to the morgue. The lovers lived together; many people even believed they were a young couple.

“Their killers went through the back door, murdered them and decided to lock their bodies in the toilet to decompose.

“The back door was found open. Their laptops, phones and other gadgets were still intact inside their apartment when some of their friends kicked in the front door to allow them to enter their apartment.

“We suspect they were killed by Yahoo Boys and that means they must have cheated them and they decided to shut them up.

“Three of them were killed including the two lovers and one of their friends. Their killers had to escape through the back door, which ended up open.

Ondo Police Command spokesperson DSP Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed the incident.

“This is a murder case and police detectives have opened an investigation,” Odunlami said.
