President Buhari Arrives Ebonyi On Two-Day Visit

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Ebonyi State for a scheduled two-day official visit to the region.

According to news sources, the president was accompanied by Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State and other government officials landed at about 11.15 am.

The helicopter which conveyed Buhari to his destination reportedly made its landing on the pavilion inside the governor's hometown residence in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of the state.

After exchanging pleasantries with top officials and traditional rulers, the President inspected a guard of honour put up by the Nigerian Army.

Buhari will inaugurate the ultra-modern King David University of Medical Sciences, Uburu, with adjourning roads and flyover and the newly erected presidential lounge Abakaliki.

He will also inaugurate the Ebonyi International Shopping Mall, facilities at the newly constructed government house, and completed road projects in the state, among others.

Following President Buhari's visit, security in the state has been beefed up, with operatives giving assurance that lives and property will be protected.
