President Buhari To Commission Cargo International Airport, Others In Yobe

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to be in Yobe State to commission a Cargo International Airport amongst other projects.

The president who is expected on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, will also commission Mega school in new Bra-bra and August 27 stadium in Damaturu.

The other projects include the state's University Teaching Hospital in Damaturu and Housing Estate at Potiskum road.

In preparation for the president's visit, the Deputy Governor of the state, Idi Barde Gubana has intensified inspection of the projects in the state. 

This was contained in a statement signed by the spokesperson to the Deputy Governor, Hussaini Mai Suleh on Friday. 

According to Suleh, Gubana's inspection was to ensure that everything was in order and completed on time in anticipation of the president. 

He added that the deputy governor expressed satisfaction at all project sites with the level of work done.

He explained that most of the projects were either completed or at their finishing.
