The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Ayodele has made a scary prediction on the crisis between Russia and Ukraine.

Ayodele made the prediction during a prayer meeting with notable African leaders at his mountain located around the Lome-Benin-Nigerian border on Tuesday, February 22.

The cleric warned the President of the United States, Joe Biden and the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, that he sees the crisis escalating beyond necessary and causing destruction in other countries.

Primate Ayodele revealed that though it will not lead to third world war, the destruction will be too much to bear if both leaders don’t cease fire and put an end to the crisis.

In a statement by his spokesman, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele called on international communities to immediately intervene for the sake of humanity.

In a statement by his spokesman, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele called on international communities to immediately intervene for the sake of humanity.

He said: ‘’International communities should handle the crisis between Ukraine and Russia now, otherwise it will escalate beyond necessary.

"I advise Joe Biden and Putin to cease fire, this crisis will escalate to something more disastrous, it will cause destruction, though it will not lead to third world war, but I see destruction that will affect other countries.’’

Meanwhile, on Thursday morning, Russian forces attacked Ukraine after President Vladimir Putin announced he had authorised a “special military operation” in the country’s east.

U.S. President Joe Biden, in a phone call with Mr Zelenskyy, condemned the “unprovoked and unjustified attack by Russian military forces”, the White House said.

Biden said in a statement he briefed  Zelenskyy on Washington’s and its allies’ planned next steps against Russia, including “severe sanctions”.

In an impassioned appeal, UN chief Antonio Guterres condemned Russia’s actions.
