The Actors Guild of Nigeria has issued a directive to Lagos chapter members to observe half-day work on Saturday in respect of the late AGN BOT Chairman, Prince Ifeanyi Dike.
This is to enable members to attend the Candle Light Procession and wake keep of the late chairman.
The directive was circulated in a statement signed by the Guild's director of communications, Monalisa Chinda and made available to AllNews Nigeria.
The statement reads, "The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has declared 'half day' of work for all members of the Guild in Lagos State chapter.
"This is to enable members to attend the Candle Light Procession and wake keep for the late AGN BOT Chairman, Prince Ifeanyi Dike, which is slated for Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere Lagos.
"He appealed to members to strictly adhere to the half-day work directive as defaulters shall be documented for future references.
"The National President pleads with other Guild and Associations, especially the producers to cooperate with AGN members on their sets with the directive of half-day work on Saturday. He urged members to attend the candlelight/wake keep en-masse."
