Indian actress Priyanka Chopra has broken her silence with an Instagram selfie since welcoming her first child with her American husband Nick Jonas through surrogacy.
Many expected a photo of her newborn but the actress instead shared two selfies of herself. The photos have her in front of a rearview mirror.
Priyanka captioned the flawless photos: "The light feels right."
Priyanka Chopra surprised and delighted her fans with the news that she and Nick Jonas had welcomed their first child in late January, via a surrogate.
In a statement posted to their Instagram accounts on Friday, January 21, the celebrity couple respectfully asked the public to give them privacy as they focus on their family.
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much (heart emoji).”
