    A prominent chief of Ughievwen Kingdom, Olorogun Emmanuel Bikogha, at Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State has been killed by gunmen.

    The monarch was reportedly shot dead at PTI junction on Sunday at about 7:10 p.m.

    The deceased’s fellow palace chief, Chief Freeborn Ayoma, confirmed the death to journalists.

    The spokesman of the police in the state, Bright Edafe, also confirmed the murder of the monarch but failed to give details.
