More and more movie fans are going to see the Nollywood movie titled Prophetess and many of them have gushed about it, with reviews being largely positive.
Unable to conceal his excitement over the positive reception the film has enjoyed and its successful theatrical run, filmmaker Niyi Akinmolayan took to his Instagram page on Wednesday to announce that it has made over N74 million (an impressive feat in its 12-day cinema run amid the pandemic).

The director also urged those who haven't seen Prophetess to endeavour to do so, telling them to take advantage of tickets being cheaper on Wednesdays in the country.
Akinmolayan wrote: "Over 74m and going strong... Let's cross 100m this weekend so I can take all my cast and crew out for beer and point and kill!!! All cinemas are still showing #prophetess and everyone in your house can see it.
"I hear a lot of cinema tickets are cheaper on Wednesday so no excuse. Don't miss out on this film o. It's meant to be seen with a crow in a big hall o."
