Swiss prosecutors have launched a criminal case against the perpetrators of a 2022 leak of Credit Suisse accounts on Friday.
The Daily Sabah added that the leak covered over 18,000 accounts subject to sanctions.
The accounts were leaked last February to Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung, which shared it with media organizations worldwide.
Prosecutors said the identity of the culprit responsible for the leak remains unknown.
It added that the alleged offences in the case violated banking secrecy laws by making confidential business information available.
