There is tension in Osogbo as some residents embarked on a protest over the alleged plans by the Osun State Government to dethrone the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun.
The residents, bearing different placards, stormed the major streets of the state capital.
Tensions have been high following alleged plans by the state government to dethrone the monarch.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson to the state governor, Ismail Omipidan has debunked the rumour.
He described it as wicked and mischievous.
